Did we not have someone to evaluate players prior to putting this bullpen together?

It's because this staff can't develop pitchers. If they don't transfer in ready to go, they rarely succeed in this system.

It’s unreal this is LSU.

Yeskie gets all the accolades, well here some negative to add to that resume. You can’t just pick the positives. This staff hasn’t developed anyone this year and guys with high upside from last year, Rizzy, hasn’t done a thing.

A lot of people on this board seem to think it’s easily repeatable to get Skenes and Anderson level pitchers on the regular.

Jay has been a bottom 1/3 of the SEC type team without a pitcher of that caliber. Doesn’t bode well for the next few years

Look at Lechenmeyer's just completed second inning-- a walk, a base hit, a TOWERING home run, a wild pitch & two hit batsmen. But--- he recorded three KO's.

Habemus starterum.

I mean Cam Johnson not developing at all should have told you this staff’s ability to develop.

Yeskie must go.

There’s been no improvement this year which is more disappointing than the abysmal job JJ did with portal evaluations.

The seat gets warmer every game and the natives get more and more restless.

He's a terrible example because a different set of coaches hasn't been able to get him to develop either.

Well when team is scoring plenty of runs but still losing should tell you what you need to know.

The guy who as putrid in the cape, Oklahoma, and the cape again? Then after 2 years, he still has games where he gives up 7 free passes in less than 2 innings and gets pulled out of games?

The la 2 weeks is the second time in his 3 year career that he's had back to back good outings against decent competition - If we're counting Missouri as decent competition, which we really shouldn't.

The staff had no chance to "develop" him because he bailed. Kade Anderson struggled as a freshman the same season, stayed for a year, and became a top 5 pick.

Too much emphasis on velocity when evaluating pitchers and not enough on control.

Just look at the record and the scores of games. LSU can score runs but they usually give up more. Basically a .500 ball club due to pitching, for the most part.

Well, I think that may be too low. He thinks Jay should be fired and is another Lemonis.
