Need suggestions on chainsaw

Looking for something to keep around the house when needed. Definitely not something I would use daily, or even monthly. Maybe a couple times during deer season, or around the house a couple times a year. Something easy to start, and reliable. $250 and below for budget (if possible) I know stihl and husqvarna are the goto brands. But Was hoping for what i am using it for, there would be something in my price range to suffice.

Iirc the MS170 was $199. I figured for $50 more bucks just get the bigger.
Edit: We keep a 170 around the shop at the camp. Its a good piece of equipment. It's perfect for clearing smaller trees and limbs. My 180 handles the trees easier, but can't really tell the difference when cutting limbs.

Echo CS-352 is another option. Really, for a very occasional use/storm cleanup saw you can pretty much take your pick. Run it on Trufuel only and empty it when you put it away. Keep a sharp chain on it, don't store it too dirty, and it will last you many years.

thanks for all suggestions. I have never seen anyone with a dewalt chainsaw around here. They work well? i Have all 20v dewalt powertools now, just not heard much on saws

Yes, the new saw (40v and up) are really decent units. I'd stay away from the lower voltages and most any brand will do just fine. Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, and Echo are the electric saws I'd consider. Stay away from the Ryobi IMHO.

Not the one you linked. I doesn't come with a battery
The battery is an additional $150

For light use a couple times a year you could probably just go get something decent at a pawn shop for $100 or less.

MS180 is on sale for $200 at sunshine right now. Definitely the correct answer here.
I have an MS170 with 14" bar. Would love to know how many hours I have on that thing. Easily 3x as many as the big saw.

Have the dewalt electric. Uses the same batteries as my drill. It does absolutely everything I need it to, and when I don't use it for 6 months it will still start right up.
I've cut down 10+ oak and pine trees, chopped them all up, etc. with it already.
