Drove through Dallas around noon on our way to Amarillo. High was 112 in Vernon, around 4pm.

So you answer your own question? Why even ask it?

A more interesting question is regarding it being 95+ at 10:30 at night.

Chalk this up for Georgia in that TX v GA debate a couple weeks ago. High today in Atlanta was in 80s. Quite pleasant evening.

Dallas often has +100 degree heat waves during the summer, nothing unusual. It will be hotter in the city than out in the country due to the heating of the concrete in the city. Cheers

I just had a mosquito use my citronella to garnish his vodka tonic. This place is too hot to rationalize.

I don’t know how to describe it.

I’ve been in Texas for 5 years now and it somehow seems much hotter than the number would seem, much less the normal.
