People keep saying shite like “They signed agents, they made money, they can’t come baaaccckkkk”

The 5 for 5 rule quite literally allows that. The issue here is that the 2022 class, specifically, is being unfairly treated.

2017-2021 got five years via Covid.

Anyone aged 19 in the year 2022 has FIVE years to play UNLESS you were already enrolled in college. Then you only get four.

How is that not discriminatory towards the class of 2022?

Under the current 5 for 5 rule, you could be 19 and played minor league baseball. Play for four years, then enroll in college, forgo all of your professional money, and then play one year in college and receive NIL.

But if you were 19 in 2022 and enrolled in college and played college sports for four years, you do NOT get a fifth year.

Do you see why these players are suing? It’s bull shite, absolute bullllllll shite.

You people arguing sound so fricking stupid and gay

2021 did not get a COVID year.

Not that it is relevant.

Yes. 98% of this is misinformation. 1% whine about how this isn’t our precious, sacred, uncorrupted college sports of yesteryear like when Bear Bryant had 145 paid players to beat LSU in the late 60s.

The other 1% are just morons.

Didn’t know that, thank you.

Side note, the NCAAs argument that they didn’t want to flood the sport with fifth years is also bull shite.

They did it for like four fricking years.

The bootlicking going on just because people are butt hurt over Lane is embarrassing.

This is true, but not only concerning this particular case. In most news cases, podcasts, reels, Facebook posts etc., much of the info is either partially correct or completely wrong. The internet is a haven of misinformation.

They have agents and are paid in today’s college game.

NCAA should’ve made the rule BEFORE the NFL draft. These kids could’ve made grown up decisions. Now they’re paying for what they did and schools are taking advantage of it through the rules set forth. The NCAA and SEC should just let this thing play out the way they set it up. Too bad they didn’t cover all of their bases.

I’m starting to think this is a major conspiracy that’s even bigger than 9/11 that the powers that be in college football (the Zionist per say) know that LSU is loaded from top to bottom and they will go out there and dominate every game and win 77-0 and the only way to stop it is doing this major smear campaign
This is no different than building 7 or 2 weeks to flatten the curve
