If you don’t want the criticism, then don’t take the $5 million a fricking year. The kid is now essentially set for life without having to rely on family money. But with that money comes expectations. He’s not just a student athlete anymore. He’s a fricking employee who is now accountable.

He comes from an extremely wealthy family with every possible advantage, every resource imaginable, at his fingertips. Any QB coach in the world would jump at the chance to coach him from the age of 5. He wasn’t pushed into starting as a freshman. The ONLY disadvantage is that people expect a lot, and that’s mainly due to insane media coverage that did not tell the truth on his abilities as a QB.
He has had probably the most advantageous path to being a QB of anyone in history, but he doesn’t have it. He’s just not the guy.

Tom NIL and the unrestricted transfer portal changed college football and the fans patience for bad results from both coaches and players. Players wanted to be paid so be ready to suffer the heat if you are not good at your paying job now.

Arch chose to go to Texas, where the pressure is immense. Arch chose to take millions in NIL money. It's Arch's third year in the UT program. Arch is from a QB family dynasty. All the excuse-making for the kid is ridiculous.

As far as the criticism goes, I'm sure Arch is fine and he knows and understands its warranted. He'd probably give anything to get better just for the sake of being a better QB but it may not be meant to be. I'm starting to understand why people don't like Tom Brady.
