Since we’re told that expansion is inevitable I’d rather get to 16 via UTx & OU than a couple low tier B12 or ACC teams. Like most I’d be more accepting of OU that Tx but I didn’t like the last expansion either so…..?

I wouldn’t mind them coming in . Let’s see if they can compete with the big boys . I’m always seeing posts that if they were in the SEC their record wouldn’t be what it is . Time to walk the walk .

I wouldn't mind Oklahoma joining, but not Texas. If I had my choice, I would add Oklahoma on the West and Clemson on the East.

The teasips have broken up two conferences in the last forty years. The land thieves will do whatever daddy teasip tells them to do. To hell with both of them.

If Texas makes it into the SEC does this mean that they "Are Back"? LOL

SEC will have great tv contracts, and I like the schedule quadreants, giving three regular opponents and two from each of the other quadrants for a 9 game conference schedule, with a chance to play every conference team over 4 years by rotating other quadrant teams. Adding two top 10 programs makes the SEC stronger. In short, it's a good thing.

Just keep the East and West Divisions but split it by geography.

I don't want them in, but expansion is inevitable and I'm not shocked by any more change. This is what we have now, and we'll adapt to it.

I don’t want the drama that Texas will bring. Take Okie and Okie State.

You think Texas will bring more drama than Bama brings? Lol, no damn way. Maybe this will force the sec to move the conference title games around and alternate, besides everything being focused right there around Birmingham, where it's beneficial to Bama. It definitely will force them to reevaluate the divisions, which is fine with me. It's going to happen eventually anyway, so why not take a precognitive approach to it?

Why do think Bama is 17 & 4 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge since 1984. Easy. It's the homefield advantage. Bama owns Tiger Stadium. The whole system is tilted toward Alabama. Alabama has the homefield advantage in every SEC stadium. It's a conspiracy to make sure that Bama always ends up at the top.
