What would you do?

Fly in to DFW with 3:05 expected arrival in from Rome after 2 weeks in Italy. 4 hour drive home. Plan on getting a room in DFW or head on back. I'm figuring on about 2 hours from touchdown to in vehicle. This will be in July.

I mean, couldn’t you just decide once you get back? If you feel like you have 4 more hours in you, drive home, if not, grab a hotel room. Seems pretty simple

Flew Rome to Toronto, landed in the afternoon. I probably could have driven 4 hours but I slept on the plane. My wife didn't and within an hour of landing she was laying in our hotel. She had never been to Toronto before and didn't even want to go to dinner, she was asleep before 6 o'clock.

Me? I’m driving the 4 hours and sleeping in my own bed after 2 weeks.

Got back from Rome last Friday at 3:30 into Atlanta. Drove 4 hours home with the help of Mountain Dew and then crashed until Saturday morning. Took me 3 days to get my body time back. I was in Italy for 12 days.

I would plan to drive and call an audible if I was exhausted. Even if you got two hours of your drive in, that’d be pretty nice the next day.

The flight back from Europe isn’t as hard on me as the flight to Europe. I would plan to drive home but make the final decision when you land at DFW.
