I had no problems at all at this condo in Pensacola. No questions. Nobody cares. I think if you are making a scene, an arse of yourself, drawing attention to yourselves then there might be problems.

I worked it out with the host. I’m leaving a check for him. I could literally leave and stiff him but that is not something I would ever do. I have Texas plates and no one is coming into the parking lot to check. We have gates though.

I wanted to stay an extra 2 days but they have a new tenant coming in so I’m headed to gulf shores tomorrow.

I think you’ll be fine with saying it’s a long term stay or you’re a cousin. The beach has been beautiful here

I would imagine it will be open before memorial day weekend. Im sure the property owners are screaming for it.

Anger is growing quick. It is absolutely retarded that hotels/resorts can be open but individual rentals cannot.

It just further emphasizes that those in power have no fricking logic behind these decisions they're making. It's just throwing darts at a board.

That you can rent a hotel room this sharing elevator, lobby, hallway space, etc with others and not rent a house is stunningly absurd.

Word on the street is that rentals open up 5/14 w a ten person limit.

I usually stay at Phoenix 10. Last minute 2 days add on.. ended up in GS. Lots of families. Hoping to have more of a party scene.

Can I use the beach in front of the Phoenix or florabama?

I think the original order was set to expire today but a new order was signed that went in to place this past Monday. I dont believe the new order has a specific end date.

Either way, you can go around it or if you choose to comply and go through, nothing will come of it other than a few questions and paperwork.

I’ve never fished down here, so can’t answer that. Must be decent because I saw a handful of people fishing on my walk down the beach this morning. Didn’t ask any of them if they’d caught anything. Very windy morning with rough surf, but winds are dying down. Shaping up to be a gorgeous day down here.

The border has never been closed so that’s not an issue. Them being able to rent to La residents is the issue.

This did not age well. Clouds have rolled in and looks like rain. Surf has been very rough all day, but water is too cold to get in anyway.
