Let me know if you need any specific help and I'll do my best with a busy work schedule. You could come on up to Buffalo if you need an excuse to see Niagara Falls

What are usually the options for this?

I'm supposed to be flying out of MSY Sunday afternoon for a business meeting on Monday. The rest of my team that doesn't live down here will make the meeting, but I will be joining remotely if I can't fly out, so there will be no need to rebook the flight.

Scheduled to fly out on AA at 8 AM: BTR to CLT then GCM Friday. What are the chances that the BTR flight will depart Friday?

Southwest has free cancellation so if you're on them you're set. On American, Delta, or United, we'll have to see what they specifically write in the re-booking options. Usually a lot more flexibility than usual with cancellations.

That's an iffy time period taking a look at the cone in the forecast. Right now wouldn't think that's a great time. Could you at least get out of BTR to Dallas or Charlotte thursday night once AA posts a waiver?

ETA: You should be good for tomorrow morning!

Keep in mind those morning flights from BTR are all overnight stayovers for the planes and the airlines don’t like to leave birds grounded.

My guess is AA and DL leave all the morning flights that overnighted from Thursday night in place from BTR on Friday morning.

Dl is great operating in poor weather usually, AA has been terrible with ops. You're probably right, but I've seen them cancel when they shouldnt have

ETA: If AA cancels his 8am to DFW tomorrow, they should be held responsible. Winds look okay for Friday as of Thursday 8am

Supposed to be flying to NOLA on Friday via Delta and from BR back to Boston via AA on Monday. Should be a lot of fun dealing with that.

You live in boston but didn't use jetblue for the nonstops this trip . Guessing they wanted a lot of $$$?

What time Friday and where are you connecting to get down there? LGA, JFK, ATL, DTW? I bet you delta posts a waiver for Friday/Saturday, in which case you can get on whatever flights you want

Cause, flying out of Boston headed to MSY Friday. Departing at 9:30, arriving at 12:30pm. JetBlue gave us a gate and terminal assignment.

You thinking we should reschedule?

So far Frontier doesn't have any waivers up. What route are you doing to get to MSY? Wonder if there's a direct on Friday you could take instead. Saturday does not look great

As golfer was mentioning in one of the above posts, that 6am flight will have the plane arrive tonight. I would expect you to be okay as delta will get the plane in tonight and that's the first flight out tomorrow.
