Were you originally interested in skiing or just a quick mountain trip? Looks like you get the sun for your entire visit, enjoy

yeah..that was the plan

Originally we had a cruise booked but backed out because of the vaccine mandate for my 12 year old daughter so decided to try skiing (Ive never been) since she was already off of school and the wife and I both had approved PTO this week and some of next.

Oh well, we'll still have fun and I guess save some money in the process

Exotic and luxurious trip to Jonesville Louisiana

You got that right. I have a sorority sister from there and one from Wildsville as well.

I'm going to Baton Rouge to visit my dad and step mom. That I-10 drive from Houston is no fun on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Flights are going to be full this thanksgiving, roads are likely to be busy as well. Tis the season

Thanks for the reminder. I need to remind my daughter who will be flying to BR from Nashville on Wed.

I’m currently in an overwater bungalow at JW Marriott in the Maldives.

Spending Thanksgiving in Dallas with my fiance's family and then flying to see my parents at their place in the mountains (Flying into GSP) Friday-Monday.

Hoping some idiot doesn't discharge another gun at ATL.

How's the JW? Looking at various hotels for the honeymoon. Plane tickets are booked but haven't decided where to stay.

Driving out to DFW on Wednesday. Probably going to be slow going coming out of the mountains, so going to be a very long day

Just to Toledo Bend, which isn't normally very up my alley, so kind-of a big deal. My family has gone for years, but this is my first time to attend.

Dad wanted me to go visit the grandparents but flights were $600+

Heading to San Diego for work post-Thanksgiving and the round trip is almost $900. It isn't even my money, but I still almost fell out. Flying from BTR - it was basically the same price as MSY. Much preferred.

MSY to Hobby with no issues. Hobby/Southwest was a zoo as normal but boarded on time and taking off soon.

Lunch at Billy Blancos after we pickup the rental and things will be off to a good start.

Safe travels everyone and may you watch LSU to victory on Saturday.

Have heard of Blue Ridge GA a few times, but have nver been there. Any reason you had stopped going for the past 10ish years?

We lived in the area from 2008-2012. It was an easy 2h drive from our house; now it's 10h. Now that our kids are a little older that drive isn't bad at all.
