Heading to Sedona in 2 weeks, staying at the Hilton Resort Bell Rock with the wife.

Any recs? We have 2.5 days to explore around. Will have a jeep to get around in.

I second Mariposa.

Went there for dinner about 3.5 years ago and my kids still offer it up as a place to eat when out and about looking for dinner (note: we live in Louisiana)

Hikes in the canyon are extremely underrated. I get that people go there for the red rocks but don’t discount the beauty you can find on those canyon hikes.

Do y’all like wine? They have great wineries in and outside of town.

I Couldn’t get reservation at Mariposa for lunch a few weeks ago in the middle of December even a month in advance. The food and views are the best in town.

Cress at L’auberge is good in summer dining along Oak Creek, too expensive for winter meal.

Might be too late but try to get a reservation at Elote Cafe. By far the best restaurant in Sedona.

If they are booked, I've lucked out everytime with their waitlist. Get the smoked brisket enchiladas. Margaritas are amazing as well.

Hilton Resort Bell Rock

We went this summer and stayed there. I second Mariposa. Amazing food and views. Budda beach was fun, but may be cold. Hikes will be great all around. Hilton offered stargazing and there was a nice Italian restaurant in walking distance just down the hill from the hotel. We loved Sedona.

Elote was a better meal than Mariposa for me, but the view at Mariposa is hard to beat. FYI, food was still really good.

Do the Cathedral Rock hike predawn and watch the sunrise. Pretty awe inspiring.

definitely drive across valley to Jerome for half a day. Several wineries and very cool switchback town.
