I'm heading to London then Paris in a month.
I'm fully vaxxed and boosted. Booster is only on my digital La. Wallet.
I'm more confused than ever.
Please report back on your experiences, my LA Wallet is the only thing that shows my 2 shots and the booster.

Good. Now they need to end testing to fly back home. You are allowed to fly to Miami and party with crowds, but you aren't allowed to spend a week at ski resort in Switzerland?

I see some countries if you have the booster you are good to go without the PCR test.
Wish they would just drop all of it and we can move forward.

If I’m reading this right, proof of recovery within the last 6 months and a negative test gets me in?

I know you just got back from Europe trip. Thanks for your previous posts.
It appears Holland may be testing issuing of a two-week temporary Covid pass certificate for outside EU visitors per this link on TA

missed this at first logged into my flight for Dublin today and saw that my vaccination was no longer valid
So, I went ahead and got the rapid PCR test...
But it is making me question further travel as this stuff may never stop...

Yeah my vaccination is no longer valid to travel to the UK. Everything I've read it means I would have to quarantine upon arrival.

Like it or not, I think what we're seeing for international travel, and traveling around in Europe, is here to stay for the foreseeable future. Requirements like the EU Digital Covid Certificate for Europeans for example, are already in place and not likely to change. They're generally just accepting it as a requirement for travel within the EU Countries. I personally didn't find it very onerous. Just something you did. Like having to show your drivers license as proof of being over 21 to get into a bar. You just show it and you're in. And not ever place in every country asked for it either. Germany was the most restrictive, other countries not so much overall.
Covid isn't going away and we just have to learn to live with it. The way most of Europe will seek to manage it is likely to continue to be vastly different than here in the US. We'll all have to balance our personal opinions vs. whether or not we want to travel there. If we do want to travel to Europe, it's quite likely things like Vax Cards or proof of negative testing are here to stay for the foreseeable future. Sucks to some, but it is what it is.
To me, not being able to go back is not something I'm willing to do. Have another trip scheduled to the Baltic Countries in May and, God willing, I'm looking forward to it and going!

From reading according to some countries because my vaccination status was over 270 days and I refuse the booster I would have to quarantine in order to visit. Now if I just had to show a negative test and be able to go about my day I would be fine.
Right now my travel plans have changed as I'm looming more at South America and Central America.

Here is a random question.
Let’s say you got the J&J in March of 21. Could you just get another batch of the J&J between day now and before say June of 22 in order to have two shots and one of them within 270 days?

Seems like that part of the requirements is going away at least. Likely to not be a requirement as Covid cases hopefully drop.

Hopefully right now since I would be considered unvaccinated I would have to which sucks.

Anyone who complies with vaccine mandates is a tyranny enabler

Reporting back from Ireland...yes, it sucked to get the PCR test but Ireland itself was 180 degrees different from when I was there in November last year.
The pubs and restaurants were wide open, no restrictions, no checks, etc. I would say 1 in 20 wore a mask in a restaurant when walking around, while maybe 1 in 50 in a pub. Each store was really up to the owner, some I wore a mask to shop, others no restrictions. And majority of taxi drivers told me no mask was needed.
When I was there in November, you had to sit at a table if the pub was open. Now just like pre covid. Anywhere I went I had to have a mask on, now, very few places.
Most of the folks I know said the breaking point was the stupidity of the last lockdown. Said why are we shutting down pubs at 8pm, does COVID go home. they said also, 83 percent of Irish are vaccinated so lets get on with it.

Found out last week that a negative test is no longer required to travel to the U.K. According to a few websites and my tour company, all you need is proof of vaccination. No testing or quarantine is required upon arrival (as long as you are vaccinated).
Now. I'm still getting a PCR test before I leave in 2 1/2 weeks as a means of insurance.

Did you have to show proof of booster? Or the 270 days, that is the only thing stopping me right now

Found this re Spain. LINK
Looks like they are just extending it a week at a time, so maybe soon they’ll get rid of it. Amazing that everything could just be shut down without any debate but if you want things back to normal there has to be some long drawn out vetting process.
