Wife and I are going in a couple weeks and would like to stay where we can walk to restaurants/bars and not have to drive. Would also like recommendations on what restaurants and bars we should try. Thanks in advance.

Went a year or so ago and stayed at the Hermitage. We were able to walk most places. Great staff and accommodations.

Our favorite meal was at Skull’s Rainbow Room in Printer’s Alley watching live jazz music.

If you’re there on Sunday evening and like bluegrass, The Station Inn does a good open mic.

Noelle

We have been to Nashville numerous times and THIS is where to stay. You are right next to Printers Alley, an amazing string of smaller bars with amazing music.

But you are also just a 30 second walk to Broadway right in the middle of it all.

DO TAKE A DAY TRIP to Leiper's Fork and Franklin... thank me later.

We stay at the Drury when in Nashville. It’s very nice and great rate compared t other hotels in that area.

I stayed at the new 1 Hotel last year and really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it.

Last time we were there we stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown. Street address is Korean Veterans Blvd but it sits on 4th and you are 4-5 blocks from Broadway. It was clean, affordable, and easily walkable to everything. There is another Hilton property and a Hyatt Place on the same block if Hampton isn't your thing.

The Noelle mentioned above looks to be in a great location.

We stayed a week at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville-Downtown. It's an 8 to 10 minute walk to Broadway, which posed us no problem. That short walk saved us a lot of money. The hotel also provided a great sit-down hot breakfast buffet that changed daily. Had a small bar in the lobby.

Home2 suites in the west end

Yes it’s not on Broadway but the price is SO much cheaper than all those close to Broadway

The 5 minute uber is easy

And there are restaurants and bars down there as well

You’ll save several hundred bucks
