Asking for a friend (really!) Friends arrived in NYC yesterday, their teenage son forgot to bring his vax card. A lot of venues they had planned to visit still require it. Anything they can do?

Do they need to upload it anywhere/have a physical card or just show on phone? If on phone, find a handy PDF editing program and you're all set

Covid is still a thing?

Vax requirement is the stupidest shite ever and I wouldn't give my money to anywhere that requires it.

Yeah it's stupid but that's the situation so I'm asking. AFAIK they don't have access to the card left at home.

Are they from Louisiana? Download LA Wallet app. It will show in there.

I tried that with mine it says it could not find my record. It wants me to take a picture and email it to them. That would work with me but not my friends because they don't have the card with them.

Mine was I think, although my wife had to contact someone (shot giver) to get her second one in. It was a long time ago, so I don’t remember all details.

Get someone to send a pic, save the pic as a password protected note on the phone

We were there with teenagers a few weeks ago and we had our cards, but none of the venues actually checked even though their website said vax cards were required

Good to hear. He couldn't get into St John the Divine without one today, so some of them are still being strict about it.

I was in the city Thursday through Saturday and not one place required a card or a mask for that matter.

I was just in nyc two weeks ago. The ONLY place that asked to see Vax records was the church that Hamilton was buried at. We went to 4 Broadway shows, 30rock and the statue with no problem.
Some places may ask you to mask though. It wasn't common
