Was going to Perdido Beach Mon-Thurs.... Just cancelled....

Was thinking of either trying to haggle with hotels for a deal next week or just saying f-it and go to New Orleans on short notice... What say the travel board?

That msp-bos route just started, someone had to give delta competition on the route. I really like jetblue with the legroom and completely free wifi

It actually got down to like 90/RT for a real nice deal. I can't complain about 160/RT for what I got though. Definitely looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Where are we meeting for a beer baw? I’ll be at the Sox game tonight.

The weather is amazing today so I may or may not be looking for an excuse to leave the office.

Yep. Was really looking forward to mountain biking all weekend, but now looks like it'll be too wet.

Oh well. I have a couple of books I'm reading so guess I'll hole up in the woods and read all weekend.

Soon... June is a bit chaotic, will likely be July.

Sidenote: I updated the original post with the tropical storm's track. For those of you headed to the gulf coast be warned about the incoming tropical storm and its potential track

My daughter and I leave MSY Monday at 10:30am to go to Italy. It's a trip of a lifetime and I hope we don't have any problems leaving MSY on time!

I'm gonna make a big assumption that you're flying Delta through Atlanta at 1030am? If so it looks like you've got a decently long layover to either Rome or Venice (3 hrs). That will help with any potential delays, wouldn't worry about the storm just yet!

Flying into NOLA from Tampa early AM tomorrow. At least NOLA has a slight chance to not be a complete washout from about early AM Saturday - Tuesday. Tampa is going to be non-stop rain. Plus, the crawfish are calling and IDGAF about an Alberto ATM. Now when I go to fly-out Tuesday evening I may be singing a different tune.

You should be fine. Tuesday flights may have some trouble getting out depending on how strong the winds actually get and how close to NOLA the storm goes. But Monday, especially early in the day, I would say you should def. be fine.

That's the flight! Our layover is over 4.5 hours. Thanks for the info.
