I've flown into LFT for most of my recent LSU game experiences. Great little airport. Rates are often way less than BTR or MSY with better schedules. Only problem is most flights I book land around 4:30 on a gameday Friday and a 55 minute drive turns into a 1hr 45 minute drive in a hurry with traffic.

I take 2-3 trips out of Lft a month and it’s great. I get there 5 minutes before boarding.

Cuse my mom flies out of LFT yearly to come out here. She flies from LFT to JAX and she says the smaller airport is nice.

Yeah it's a great new regional airports. Access is about as good as one could want.
The only problem is you have to go to ATL, DFW or IAH to go anywhere else.
