It’s the most urban of the 3 right there. Casino is pretty smoky. Limited sports book, meh dining options. Great people watching at the pool

Go to Ruth’s in the Hard Rock or BR Prime at the Beau for a steak

I went expecting golden nugget in Lake Charles and was very disappointed. Tiny pool. Morton’s had a terrible wine list. It’s old looking

I like it. I always hop around casinos though.

Morton’s is great. Every casino has a high-end steak place though.

Shot a man in the head six times. Every Uber driver told us about it this weekend.

You NEED to get a banh mi (poboy) from Le Bakery when you’re there. Best French loaf possible. I always get the cold cut, but the bread is star of the show.

Think we will stop at Patio 44 for brunch on the way in. Not going to the casino at all, did reserve a cabana (Saints play Pats at noon). Sushi sounds terrific after pool. Thanks for the advice

So it's a good time to ask for a reduced rate?

Just a warning on this. I'll spare you the details, but had reservations for Labor Day weekend (we canceled the stay last minute due to Ida) and they put me through the ringer for like 6 weeks prior to us canceling, trying to deal with the cabana rental.

I was fully expecting to arrive there and them have nothing for our group, which we never found out the answer to since we had to cancel the stay anyway.

We did get the cabana and while she said there were only 3 not reserved it was more like only 3 were actually occupied. It’s a real rinky dink operation (I didn’t have to leave a deposit and paid cash). It was too expensive but what the hell, it worked for us as I got to flip between Ryder Cup and football when I wasn’t at the swim up bar, which I was for hours
