I used to be in Jackson every other week. I always stayed at the Drury Inn or the Hilton in Ridgeland. The Bulldog Club is near the Hilton and you can easily walk to it. Drury has a good breakfast and they used to do appetizers every night (I assume they are still doing it post COVID).

There is a pretty good hotel right next to airport at the refuge

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Pearl earlier this month for a 5:30 a.m. flight. I would stay there again. The shuttle to the airport started running at 7 a.m. Our flight was earlier than that though so that was a little disappointing

Refuge Hotel is new. nice and it’s close but could run you close to $200. Cheaper options in Flowood.
As far as the Hilton on County Line goes, it isn’t the Bulldog anymore it’s the M Bar and there have been a few shootings and other violence the last few months, so it isn’t what you remember. Heck I was in that area a couple of weeks ago just to go to a store before it was even nighttime and there were two dudes fighting outside a different bar with some gal filming it.

Came to post this as well.
Good location. Everything you could want is right there . And close to the airport.

I would recommend staying in Flowood less than a 15 minute drive to the airport.

I have family in Brandon area and we usually stay at the hotels by Dogwood Festival Market.
We've stayed at Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, and the Holiday Inn Express and all are fine.
It's maybe 10 min from airport.
