As title says looking for a VRBO or lodge that has a cabin or house on the water easily accessible for fishing.

I usually take the kids to poverty point but they are booked up for awhile. The cabin rest right on the water walk out the back door and fish. Not much luck there, so i do prefer a place were the action is decent for the kids to catch fish.

Any ideas im all ears.

Thanks

Poverty point reservoir has cabins. Delhi is kind of out of the way from most everywhere but the lake is nice.

Lake End Park just outside Morgan City on Lake Palourde has cabins for rent with docks. And all the catfish you care to catch and clean.

Dauphin Island, if you’re willing to go a little farther.

I have some friends that used to own a couple on Toledo Bend that should work for you. You could start there. I'm pretty sure there are some on Caney Creek Reservoir in Jackson Parish too.

Does Bayou Signette still have Cabins on the water? Stayed there many years ago and was a very nice outing.
