They are wanting to spend around $5,000 for a week or so.
I told her to look at the Hilton La Romana, but that’s the extent of my knowledge of adult-only resorts.

You can check the north west side of Costa Rica. That's where I honeymooned, I think it is this Westin all inclusive. I don't remember any kids, just drunk Canadians.

Sandals will be fine for young newlyweds. Might have to stay a little shorter than a week though. 6 nights will be around $7k, but if you knock it back to 4 nights you can stay in a nicer room for around $5k. We stayed at the one in the Bahamas on ours, and I think we did 4 or 5 nights.

It's crazy how expensive sandals has become. I went to sandals st Lucia on my honeymoon for around $3k for a week. That same stay would be about double now. There is way better values in the all inclusive space than sandals

We went to Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay for our honeymoon. We loved it!
We recently went to Excellence Playa Mujeres for our 5-year anniversary and loved it there too.
If they are wanting to get out of the resort, I would go EPM.

Would also recommend Costa Rica Pacific side.
I went to Liberia Costa Rica for Mardi Gras '24, loved it. Did the all inclusive at the Riu, had a blast. Lots of Canadians escaping the winter.

Check out Punta Cana over La Romana.
Cabo and Nuevo Vallarta has awesome AIs as well.
Virgin Voyages is adults only if they’re interested in a cruise.
April is the perfect month to be in the Caribbean.

Was just there in November. It is connected to another hotel that has a big sports bar and a nightclub so if they are looking for that scene one night, they can get it.
Grand Rose Hall was 100% worth the money. Make sure to get the Ocean View Butler Suite…great experience with that

How important are activities outside of the resort? Do they venture into town although they are wanting AI?
