At some point I’ll get around to posting some pics and a review.

I’m not expecting to be overwhelmed but 9:45 hours of flight time was too long for me in steerage.

I really like the NS service to Deutschland.

Berlin, Prague & Vienna coming up on the itinerary.

Enjoy!

Great that MSY offers this now. What’s this ticket price been averaging since its inception? Just curious. Any idea?

Friend and his family did it last summer in steerage, but even there said it was a delightful flight. Enjoy!

The Frankfurt airport is the absolute worst. I hate it. I know it is amazing to get a non stop flight to Europe out of New Orleans but next time I will fly to some other part of Europe. We flew this in July and paid around $1000 per ticket so it wasn't cheap but it also wasn't as expensive as other, much longer, flights. We ended up paying the $50 per seat to reserve seats so we made sure we sat together.

BA had a 66.1% load factor in January. I believe Condor's service is seasonal.

That's not bad considering January is very slow for travel.

What does this mean exactly? Their flights are only 66% full?

Here are the stats from May. NO Airport posts the statistics every month. Very good stats.

British Airways
92.3% full outbound (MSY-LHR) 4343 pax/4708 seats
74.7% full inbound (LHR-MSY) 3516 pax/4708 seats
83.5% full combined 7859 pax/9416 seats

Condor
94.2% full outbound (MSY-FRA) 1201 pax/1275 seats
67.0% full inbound (FRA-MSY) 854 pax/1275 seats
80.6% full combined 2055 pax/2550 seats

Dang didn't know that, would think it would be a good way to predict good fare rates for the following year by looking at the previous year's statistics for the time period one is looking to travel?

How are outbound and in bound so far off? a couple percentage points sure, but that much seems like there is something missing?

Travelers flying into one city and out of another one accounts for part of the gap.

Agreed but 20% difference is a lot. There's 20% more people flying into somewhere else and out of NOLA? I'd assume whatever vacation those people are on, a portion of them would also fly into NOLA and out of somewhere else?
