Gotta fly from AEX to Dallas Friday morning
Supposed to be in the teens. I know aex and dfw have de-icing equipment. Just hoping for no actual ice on the ground especially in ellick

I’m off of work after Tuesday until the new year. I’m personally amped for the blizzard. Should be awesome!

Flight from Seattle to Atlanta is oversold so I'm on the list for $500. And there's a nonstop to Ft Lauderdale that leaves at 8am so they're putting me on that one for free no matter what
Eta: Seat not needed due to no-shows but I'm on the nonstop woo

Sitting in Fort Worth right now, came up from Austin for a wedding this past weekend. Mrs. H2O Tiger and I are off to Vegas for 4 days for her birthday tomorrow.
Land back in DFW at midnight on 12/23 and then hopping in the car on Christmas Eve to head to my parents in Shreveport. Staying in SHV for about a week before heading back to Dallas for NYE and then finally back to Austin in 1/1

Well, connecting in Chicago on way to Richmond Saturday
The weather looks better in Chicago for Saturday but pretty concerned planes will not be where they need to be for us to have one.
Waiting for a waiver to go up so I can switch to a southernly ATL route with shitty timings. Haven't done enough research on where those planes are coming from historically though.

You're a pretty frequent traveler, so you may already know this, but FlightRadar24 will have the aircraft schedules loaded a couple days in advance, so you can see where they are coming in from. Though with a weather mess I'm sure last minute swaps will be happening across the network.
Also, are you on WN? The connecting in Chicago vs. changing to connecting in ATL has me scratching my head otherwise

Ya on WN.
We didn't even want to go to Richmond in the first place.
But now here we are.

Bank that credit for later

Driving from Northwest Arkansas to Tucson on Christmas Day. Looking like it will be in the 70s most of the week in Tucson, so that's awesome.

Ya we're not interested in pushing it very much. My wife is the one who really didn't want to go, so that's not stressful at all.
If it's possible we'll go, if not, whatever.
Thankfully not a trip we'd been super looking forward to.

Heading to Big Island Hawaii for 8 days. We’ve done Maui and Honolulu. Used points for flights and found a very reasonable Air BnB. Looking forward to mild temperatures and outside activities. Flying back we are staying in Vegas for a night before heading home.

Doing the stereotypical Louisiana winter trip, driving up to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Watching the weather closely. We were planning to leave early am on the 27th (1am time frame) to drive up, but if it's too cold we're going to eat that first day cost and just leave at 1am on the 28th.
Already spoke to the owners and they agreed that if we have to leave late they can add a day on to the end at 50% of the nightly cost.

Staying home for Christmas other than the 30 minute drive to Bedford for Christmas Eve and the 45 minute drive to Denton for Christmas Day. Heading to Austin the 27th thru 31st and should be warm by then. It's a great time of year to do Austin since all the UT students are gone. Not much traffic and restauranst aren't as full as they usually are.

All is quiet at DFW this morning. Can't wait to see what awaits me at LAX though
