Happy weekend everyone . Figure this is about the right time to start this thread given it's "Use it or lose it" season for vacation hours. Where is everyone headed this holiday season?

Headed down to Ft Lauderdale on Monday, apologies in advance for bringing down the cold Christmas Eve temperatures. Plan is to sit by the pool/beach and do nothing but read a book and soak up some vitamin D besides seeing family.

Expect flights to be full this week and hope the weather cooperates. Big frontal system moving across the country bringing the cold weather pretty much everywhere. Along with that looks like a lot of snow in the forecast for the midwest/northeast Friday and Saturday

Compared to the 13*F you're going to feel in Ft. Worth Thursday night the Bahamas should be a welcome change

No flying for Christmas. Driving to Little Rock from Cenla on Friday. It might be 15 degrees outside, but it will be 80 inside my parents' house.

I’m not flying anywhere this Christmas, but driving to New York on Wednesday for a few days.

Hoping for good weather for the drive.

Safe travels, all

Heading to Fabulous Las Vegas. Going to eat some great food. So far on the agenda is:
Scarpetta
Hash House a Go Go ( always a must do)
Wynn Buffet on Christmas Day
Grimaldi’s Pizza
The Chubby Cattle
Margaritaville (Just for a Margarita)

As for entertainment, so far I have scheduled some British diva, what’s her name….oh yeah…Adele. I hear she’s pretty good.

Flying to NOVA on Friday. It will be great to spend time with my kids but it's going to be very cold and I will not like that part of the trip.

Enjoy the city, great time of the year to go there as far as everything going on . Friday's going to be rough though with rain, snow, 20mph winds, and a low of 21F.

Let us know how Adele is in person, probably pretty good I'd have to imagine

Pompano off A1A. I'll be down there for a week, you going to be around?

Damn NOVA looks very cold. It'll remind yourself why you live in FL

Ok, I know full and well I’m going to sound like a Scrooge when I say this, but I hate NY at Christmas. It’s like tourist season there minus the nice weather and everyone visiting is walking around like it’s a goddamn Hallmark movie.

That being said, we will have a lot of fun and have dinner lined up at one of my absolute favorite restaurants I’ve ever eaten at before.

No travel for me, but there's potential for a Midwest/Great Lakes blizzard. That storm Cuse highlighted is gonna be extremely energetic as that cold air meets the warmth of the eastern airmass.

Just avoid Rockefeller center area with the tree and you'll be fine. If it snows everyone is going to look up at all the big buildings and stop in the middle of the sidewalk even worse than normal

I see 2*F with 25mph winds on Christmas Eve for Chicago, nasty stuff. Enjoy the indoor activities!

London sounds pretty awesome, didn't it just snow over there too?

Traveling to the ski slopes can count . Any plans to hit up the mountains or is it too crowded for your liking?

Nothing drives me crazier. I’ve never lived in New York but go fairly often for work, yet whenever I’m walking and get caught behind people looking up and not moving my immediate thought is “fricking tourists get out of my way” as if I’m a local.

Would you rather have people do that shite on the sidewalks or have drivers do that with their cars in the middle of the road? Because out here in WA it's the drivers doing that and I want to run people off the road every day . I'm sure it' the same with taxis/drivers in the city that get caught behind tourists

Just wait until you get older, might as well get you a "Get off my lawn" christmas ornament.

My flight to Atlanta tomorrow morning gave me the "Your flight is looking for volunteers" notification so I put in a bid for $500. We'll see if it's actually oversold but it's showing Y0 so there's a good chance
