Cayman Islands All Inclusive

Looking to do an all inclusive with two kids (5 & 7) this year to the Cayman Islands. We originally were looking at Punta Cana, but the flight schedules home are terrible. Wife doesn’t want Mexico so that’s out.
Any suggestions on places to stay or things to do? Any help is appreciated.

Which island? Grand Cayman or Little Cayman?

Either would be good with us. Whichever would be more kid friendly
Guess I should have done my research before posting as there is not much in the Cayman as far as all inclusives……

I’ve been to half dozen or so islands and Grand Cayman is dead last on my list. I’d look at Mexico or DR, especially for all inclusive.

I’ve just been down there on live aboard dive boats, so I’m not much help. If you’re looking for quiet and relaxing, there are a couple of places on Little Cayman. I think they are all inclusive type places because there are so few places to eat, etc. I think Ken Branson goes down there a good bit. All the commercial activity is on Grand Cayman. There will be more options and a full range of places.
ETA: I like the Caymans because they are safer and cleaner than a lot of places in the Caribbean. Not hard to get to either.

Why not do like a Nickelodeon resort in Cancun?
Seems like the kiddos would love it for sure

We’ve been to most of the places, but now I think we eyeing the Mexican Riveria area. Any suggestions for there?

we're also planning our first all-inclusive and looked at Georgetown part of Cayman Island. A friend who's been there said it was just OK but probably not the right mix for active vs relaxing as we're trying to split the difference between enough things for kids to do but not simply a kid playground.
We looked at Atlantis and the kids were in love with that idea but having been to the Bahamas myself Atlantis is more "playground bubble" than something for the parents to enjoy too.
I've ruled out Jamaica due to the increased travel advisories and friends reviews saying it not as nice as used to be.
St Lucia looks awesome but getting there is significantly more difficult from Western US than any of the other places we've looked at. We'd be looking at two connections one of which would be a 8-ish hour layover in MIA... no thanks.
Current short list is DR - Punta Cana (though I'm a bit concerned about what's going on in Haiti), Pacific side of Costa Rica, and Tolum area of MX.
I should point out that we're booking through Costco travel and the deals are pretty great compared to open market.

Check out Puerto Vallarta. Tons of AIs. More lush landscape. Tons of zip lining, boat trips to Yelape (beach that can only be reached by boat), off roading, charming old town area. Tons of flights in and out.
Have you checked out Aruba? Great beaches there. Several AIs.
Costa Rica also has much better resorts than GC.
Puerto Rico may have better flight schedules.
Costco has great packages to Hawaii.

Checked out Aruba but more than I wanted to spend for a 5 and 7 year old to want to be at a pool all day
Our original plan was Punta Cana, but we want to travel from Wednesday through Sunday to lessen the amount of vacay days and allllll of their returning flights we could find don’t land until after 7 or 8 pm. Would be a miserable Monday work day getting back that late as we live 2 hours from Nola airport

If you are going with kids, I would look a Grand Vellas.
