Freedom trail was my favorite thing in Boston. Just a good way to see the city and take in some history. It’s a couple miles of walking so if you don’t feel like doing that you may not like it.

Sox games are great. Y’all will enjoy that.

I am a runner so I took a little path down the Charles river and over around MIT & Harvard (thanks Abita) . It was awesome.

Get a lobster roll. I’ve had a few diff ones around town and Saltie Girl is the best in my opinion. Bring your $$ those rascals are expensive.

Hope y’all have fun. Ill be flying in on June 2 but this time we are going up the Maine coast and then back down for some time in cape cod. Boston is great. I hate big cities but Boston is my exception.

There is a substantial Boston thread currently down towards the bottom of the first page. Post in it and ABF will definitely answer.

Boston is one of my favorite cities. Definitely hit up the North End for Italian food.

While you’re in Fenway for the game, grab a beer at Trillium and get lunch at Time Out Market.

Other things to do:

Whale watch tour
Freedom Trail
MFA

Other breweries to hit:

Night Shift
Aeronaut
Lamplighter
Trillium

Other restaurants: give me a budget and idea of what you like to eat. Too many to randomly list.

Bump. Going next week. Will have 3 full days Fri-Sun. Arrive Thursday late and fly out first thing Monday morning. I know there’s a full thread from over the years but for anyone that’s been more recent.

Going to attend one of the Red Sox game over next weekend haven’t picked which one yet. What’s outside of the stadium? Do they have anything like Atlanta or St. Louis directly outside? Also any other recs would be appreciated. Staying in seaport right near Trillium appears almost touching my hotel. Found a flight club darts place that will happen. Rest is pretty much winging it. Walk the trail. Go see Harvard. Maybe do a boat tour. Open schedule currently. TIA

Plenty of places around Fenway to grab a drink before the game.

I would hit up the North End at some point. Pizzeria Regina is world class.

The Seaport was a wasteland 8-10 years ago. Almost everything there is new.

Specific questions?

Fenway is in a neighborhood. More like Wrigley than ATL or STL.

If you are into history at all, the Freedom Trail is a must do in my opinion.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday
Freedom Trail to start the day
Lunch somewhere in that area
Probably Fenway area for the game Friday night but not attending

Saturday:
Whale tour to start the day
Lunch
Either Fenway to the game or dinner somewhere possibly rooftop

Sunday:
Day baseball game if haven’t attended yet
Wing it

My hotel is within a minute from seaport trillium and less than 1 mile from harpoon brewery. Possibly do a Fenway tour as well. Visit the gardens around Fenway. Also was totally oblivious that the US Open is being played less than 8 miles from the hotel this weekend as well and of course the Celtics host game 6 Thursday and if they win would force a game 7 to be played Sunday night. So will blend with the locals for that to be around the environment.
