How did you pull up the stats from last year? I thought I remembered getting an email but can't seem to find it...

Saturdays are for ski planning I guess, going through and finalizing dates today. Lots of trips being planned and to some new destinations. The sun valley talk above has me questioning if I can fit that in early March...

I’ll be there March 5-10. If you make it out during that time post up here or email me (username @ gmail). I’m just an intermediate skier and nowhere near your level, but I’d gladly buy you a drink for all the help you give folks on this board.

Nice! Yeah I'll let you know, it's likely there or Mt. Bachelor for early March. Friend at work said it's a good time to go to sun valley. I'm finding some flights for $320 roundtrip which isn't bad, but I want to wait a bit as I have a feeling I can get even better prices for the nonstops on Alaska.

Just booked Taos NM Feb 2-5, Big Sky Feb 15-18, and SLC Feb 24-27

Im looking to get at least one day at Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone, Breck, Copper, Vail, Beaver Creek, Cooper, and Monarch this winter.

Copper is the homebase though. Two days a week for the whole season.

So glad to be here this winter vs NOLA most of the last one.

Ikon app.
‘Ikon Pass’ tab on bottom bar.
‘All destinations’ tab, top middle, tap it to be able to toggle between seasons.

Can somebody recommend a good pair of ski gloves?

The past few times I've been my hands become excruciatingly painfully numb on the lift.

I assume I just need to invest in something more heavy duty. What brands should I look at?

I like the way my white hestras look holding my Starbucks cup.

I have a pair of Hestra lobster claws and also some Kincos… The Hestra are slightly better but damn you can’t beat the performance for the price of Kinco. I have them in both the 5 finger and the mitten.

For those of you with mittens, why do you prefer them/what is the advantage over a glove? More warmth since your fingers are touching?

Warmth is definitely a benefit but I also just like the way the mittens feel overall, especially when he trigger finger version. Easier/quicker to get on and off. Less seams to fail and introduce water inside. Although I’ve never had that happen.

I’ve not experienced any issues with cold hands with my gloves, but have considered trying a pair of mittens and May do that this year.
