Last year, I booked lift tickets through liftopia. When the resorts closed and cancelled due to rona, liftopia only issued me a credit instead of giving money back. Right now, I am not seeing places that I could use the credit this season. Anyone have insight or experience? I'm wondering if I should keep checking what's offered or just kiss that money goodbye.

Feb 15-19. Not a holiday. Holidays are the 13th and 14th.

You just need the 4 or 5 day epic pass. $104 per day.

or

Keystone plus pass if 4 or more days. $409

I have no advice here since I always buy direct with EPIC - but I'm pretty certain almost every where and every company is giving refunds if you press them, due to COVID. You should call and ask if you have not already.

On that note... we're hearing rumblings that this entire ticket reservation via EPIC is going to be shot to hell once it opens and COVID cases start showing up. I am sure they will again issue refunds if you purchase ahead, but I would be pretty hesitant to book an entire trip too far in advance right now - flights, hotels, equipment etc.

I would let November/December come and see what all these resorts do. I have a bad feeling a lot will go back to either only locals or shut down completely. Already have announced no bars will be open to start, which is a bummer.

I’m starting to get pessimistic about the season too. If someone wants to increase their odds of success, Summit County is not it.

Also, Copper and Eldora announced parking will be their limiting factor.

I'm considering Telluride this year, probably in January. Somewhat off the beaten path. I would be hesitant to book anything in Summit County, at least for the time being.

I do kind of think that closing resorts is not an option this year. They are a massive employer/revenue driver, and I would be surprised if they did what they did last year.

We’ll find out soon how much of a pain this season with be at Vail Corp. Reservations open tomorrow. I’m trying to book buddy and kids passes. I’m sure it’ll be a cluster.

I'm going to Beaver Creek the week of Dec 6th. Logging on at 7AM tomorrow to secure lift tickets.

I'm confident we'll be skiing in a month!

Headed to Powder Mountain, UT for our pretty regular Mardi Gras trip. Worried a little bit about the snow forecast for this year. 5 days of skiing in our 7 day trip.

Decided today we are doing Telluride in February so I’m following this thread closely. I might even start a new thread just for Telluride here in a few weeks just so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle here

You best be praying and dancing snow dances. There is none right now and its been 65 and sunny.

Covid numbers in Denver and Colorado as a whole are not doing well. I'm starting to get some doubt about this season.

I started with 26k ahead of me. Now down to 13k. Says I have 16 more mins. I'm trying to book days between Christmas and new years so I may be screwed. I have no idea how many ppl they can have on the mtn per day.

I checked the site at like 6:40 mtn time and the waiting room was already going. So it opened before the time they originally set. Kinda weird.

I think the Christmas and Preisdents weeks at Vail and Breck will be booked first.

I bet the hotels in Vail worked out something with Vail Corp to have blocks of reservations.
