If their is not any epic passes left or ikon passes for sale until March and we are going on the 1st of February do I have to just buy lift passes now for our 3 day ski trip to Breck?

Yes, seasons passes are cut off. You now have to buy daily lift tickets and make your reservation.

I’m locked into Snowbird/Brighton SLC end of Jan 2021.

Looking into Aleskya Resort in AK late Feb.

Anyone ridden AK in late Feb? Ever get socked in there?

Going to Winter Park, CO in a few days. Thursday-Monday 12/17-12/21

We have an Ikon Pass, and now Winter Park is requiring reservations starting 12/19.

What is the liklihood I am going to be able to get a reservation on 12/19, 12/20 & 12/21? Already have ski school, and rental equipment booked.

I would think if you are online right when they are available you should be able to get them, it is an Ikon owned resort so that should help. I know some of the non-Ikon owned resorts like Big Sky seem to have a more limited supply of reservations.

Yeah, that sucks. I went two Saturdays ago and the Gondola line was the only pinch point. Vail lines this weekend were way longer than WP even though Vail required reservations. Hopefully these storm systems will allow them to open more terrain and increase reservation capacity.

If anyone is looking to make a ski trip this year, pick something not off I70.

Summit county (breckenridge) public health order placing restrictions on indoor dining and other restrictions set to expire on dec 18 @ 11:59 pm unless modified or extended. Maybe they'll loosen up from "level red" status. I think its been a good week in CO with covid cases.

Summit county should not be at level red. The covid numbers in summit are laughable. 1,648 cases since they started recording in February. 3 deaths due to covid.

quote:

Personal gatherings involving more than one household are prohibited. This includes lodging and short term vacation rentals. Lodging stays are limited to one single household, which is defined by the county as "the person or persons who live together in a single residence."

Any individual found in violation of this order can be fined up to $5,000 and serve up to 18 months in jail.

I would love to see how they try to enforce this. We will be at Breck in Jan and plan to bring my parents who not only dont live with us, but they live in another state.

The paper indicates the state is likely going to extend it. shite show continues.

It’s just scare tactics. If 1 person cancels their trip because of it they’ll feel like they accomplished something. Wife and I were there for a long weekend a few weeks ago with 2 friends from different households, so 3 households total.

The Airbnb host did check me in in person and asked if it were just my wife and I, but that’s all.

Be free.

Just keep a low profile out in public. It's mostly enforced via a hotline people call in and officers are dispatched to investigate

Everything is open in Utah. Having a blast at Deer Valley & Park City. Ate Ruth’s Chris last night. Just got a pretty big snow yesterday too.

I'm sorry Karen made you come out here officer, but although my parents identification shows a different address than mine, they moved in with us last month.

With that said, Colorado looks to be moving in the right direction so Summit may be out of Red in a few weeks. We still have another trip planned to Park City as my Epic is good there as well.

I guess they're just being extra cautious with breckenridge because its such a money machine . Oh well. As long as I can ski there next week I'll be happy.

Glad to hear this. We are going to Park City next month. Not planning to ski, just because my kids 3/6 want to see snow so it’s important for other things to be open.
