I use Spotify mostly, but when I want to discover new music I put on Pandora. The Spotify radio stations always steer far away from the band I tell it I want to hear. My Alexa is even worse. I guess that is Amazon music. Pandora has the best algorithm for similar sounding songs.

but I'm wondering if I wouldn't enjoy Spotify a little more.
What's making you wonder this?
Using AM and it's great. I had Spotify and it was fine but integrating all the music I had in the same place with AM was what made me switch.
Plus I've heard Spotify has a saved song limit that's relatively low.

I’ve only used Spotify for the past several years, but I just let my sub run out and I’m now on Tidal for their HiFi streaming through my bluesound Node2. Sounds great, and as a bonus they have some Drag City titles Spotify doesn’t, but tidal has less content overall. Though I have been able to find everything I’ve looked for so far. I think it’s overpriced at $20/month for the hifi sub, $15/month seems more reasonable, but it sounds great.
I loved Spotify and had zero issues, just wish they offered a HiFi sub like tidal. When they do I’ll likely switch back.

I'm currently on Pandora Premium, on a 6-month free trial period. I like it so far, and honestly I was on Pandora Plus before because I just love Pandora radio more than any other radio service. I like that when I listen to an album and the album finishes, it automatically picks up playing tracks like the album on radio mode.

I only use Spotify due to Google Music not having a desktop app. You can only stream Google Play music through the web on a PC.
Spotify is also a no-brainer with having a PS4 and Xbox One. Both Sony and MS have and or are doing away with their music services and using Spotify on the consoles.
ETA: The only thing I do not like about Spotify on PC is you can only download songs for offline play if you add them to a playlist first. Whereas on the phone you can download anything for offline play.

Amazon Prime music is great once you build your playlists and specify your preferred genres.

They were all I used back in the day. Would download everything I wanted and then had a program that would strip the DRM off the songs so I could do whatever the hell I wanted to with them.

I use Amazon's upgraded Prime service. In my car, the fidelity is punchier and more vibrant than the Sirius satellite service that came with the car.

Spotify premium for a couple years now, after a time with Pandora paid level. Really happy with Spotify.
Hell, I pay for Amazon Prime and don’t even know how to use their music service. Guess I should try it.
Slacker free version was pretty good back in the day. I preferred it to Pandora for a time when they were all we had of note. Not sure where Slacker stands these days.

use Google Play All Access because it comes with YouTube Red for the same price as the other music services.
+1.
It is time for a refresh though. It was amazing years ago but now that UI is outdated and a bit clunky.

Why does this matter? I like that I can just pin a tab for it in Chrome.

YouTube Music app mostly, then Google Play Music for YT Red being included so I get no ads as well as the huge Google catalog, and they all stream seamlessly with Google Home.
Too much value there for me to ever switch.

Because I like having my favorite music available for offline play. I work in Afghanistan and don't always have the best of internet.
