Currently looking at a Sanus BLF228 but it's $300. Seems high but the features are nice.

For those who have mounted TVs, what do you have? What do you like about it and what do you dislike about it?

TIA.

Are you looking for any sort of swivel capability?

If not just find something that gets pretty decent reviews on Amazon and get them to install it. That's what I did.

Find the screen size/weight combination you want on this page, install it correctly, and don't worry about a thing. There's no reason to spend $300 when $60 will do the same job.

Yes, sorry. I want something that pulls from the wall, moves right to left, tilts, and swivels.

Basically a full motion, which is why I was looking at the Sanus BLF228.

Just installed this one yesterday in brick on our patio. Came with wood and also concrete anchors. Nice little template that makes it a breeze to position and level before drilling. Just as good as the Sanus in our living room.

Which Sanus do you have and how do you like it? I like what you linked also.

Don't remember the model. It's a low profile tilt mount. Not the full extension.

monoprice is the correct answer to this thread. they have a mount to fit every conceivable configuration and they are inexpensive and very high quality and loaded with features like built-in levels so you can ensure while its going up its plumb.

Articulating mounts cost more. The cheaper ones will have a lot more deflection (sag) when extended. As with everything, you get what you pay for. I like Chief and Peerless. However, my liability insurance is at risk so I make sure that I get something that is overbuilt for the job.

I've used them but not for an application like this. Too much at stake for me.

Nothing against those that use them. For professional work I prefer to stick with the mount companies.

Monoprice mounts are awesome. I've had one now for about 8 years. It was previously holding up a 50" Panasonic plasma that was pretty heavy. It is now holding up a 55" Samsung that is significantly lighter. It is the full tilt/swivel one. Thing is solid.
