If you have reservations, don’t do it. It works. I don’t know what more I can say. A few guys in here use it and I haven’t seen anyone complain, have you?

I decided to cut cable so I came to this thread to learn the alternatives. My head exploded like Tony Shalhoub’s in Men in Black.

Tivimate has an update out. It's 3.0.

I can't get my shield to update it even though I have auto updates turned on.

NVM it's beta

Tivimate is so clean and the service with it is damn near perfect. I would change a little here and there, but it really is damn near perfect. Btw, I got free TV next month. Thanks guys.

With Tivimate, I add all the channels I watch to Favorites that way I don't have to navigate everything.

Channels, movies, 24/7. Everything.

Anyone else do this?

I don’t watch the 24/7 channels much, but my guide is the tits. I have it perfectly organized for everything I like, hide everything else, have the sports packages I like in the menu, and set it to show hidden channels in favorites. My guide is slick AF. The side panel is just NFL/NBA/MLB/PPV/NCAA/Favorites.

I am curious to know if anyone has had KS Hosting and/or, has switched to contentwizards, or vice/versa?
Any major differences between the two? Comparisons. Outside of the VOD that content wizards has.

KS Hosting allows for 5 TV’s for $10/month and content wizards quoted me $25/mo for 4 TV’s. KS Hosting buffers from time to time, but outside of that, appears to be stable, has about 1700 channels, works withTiviMate, has all PPV’s, MLB, NBA, NFL, soccer, HBO/Showtime/movies, etc.

Not trying to justify one or the other, I am just curious as to anything that I am missing with contentwizards, that I need to make the jump over.

Thanks

Not a lot of buffering at all, a back up service if your shite acts up, because well, IPTV. 4K movies. Lots of them.

Was reading on Reddit that 3.0 is really good. Can’t wait until it gets released.

How do you DVR with content wizards?

Use a HD connected to your streaming box. Map tivimate to save recordings on the HD. Hold the center button down on your controller and select record. Leave the streaming device on.

Can you setup series recordings? Or do you have to do one episode at a time? And can you record multiple shows at once?

I don’t know about series recordings but I record several things at the same time.

Did you pull the trigger? My buddy was having issues but mine has been perfect. Come to find out his neighbor was stealing his WiFi and killing his speed, lol. Changed his PW and it’s running flawlessly again.

I cut the cord after failed efforts with Uverse, and Comcast. Went with Hulu Plus, Disney +, and ESPN, all through Roku where needed. Connection keeps cutting out, and restarting at where it got stuck. I can’t take it any more. Hulu has to go. Problem is that I had the same problems with the previous 2. My house is not rural, so should have modern connections. So, which company is up next?
