but TCL makes a damn good budget tv

Both of our TCLs that are less than 2 years old have issues. They are POS and I should have known better.

costco gives you 4 year warranty bring-it-back-and-get-your-money-back-no-questions-asked

i would only shop costco for any tv for this alone.

I’ve got one that is over 2 years old and one just under. Absolutely no issues with either.

YMMV

They sell TCL all the time. Stock varies but there’s always a couple options at our local store.

Have never seen one at the store. Could not find one online when I was looking either.

Rtings review is out

And it's not great, really bad blooming sounds like it ruins the TV along with really poor black uniformity. Could be some panel variance in there too. But again, for the money.. that level of brightness and color gamut+volume is really really strong.

My BestBuy will have the 65" in stock on 9/17 for $899. Is this the best TV on the market for under $1K?

I have 60” Samsung from 2016 that's developed white spots where the led lenses have become unglued. Does this new technology use those glued on lens thingies? I can't spring for oled, but this looks intriguing.

It's solid, no 75" option sucks though.

So what's the best tech now? Nano/micro LED? I have a 2017 OLED and just got the screen replaced for free and it's the newest screen, so I'm good with it. Just wanting to keep up

Honestly though, I love the OLED but after having it for nearly 3 years, I don't know if I see too much difference on most of the stuff I watch compared to my old Samsung HDTV.

Trying to read the fine print on this. Is it only if you register a new credit card with them or is it good if you already have the Costco citi card?

You watch anything with DV or 4K Blu Rays? Those should be blowing that old Samsung out the water, at least it does for me with my C9.
