I usually buy the flagship model of phones, but I'm thinking of getting the 6 over the pro. I don't need 120 hz over 90, telephoto lense, or.3 inch larger screen. I like the flat screen VS the curved also.

I thought the same thing so I preordered the P6 from AT&T and got it a few days ago. It's a great phone for the price. No regrets about not buying the P6 Pro.

My pro is coming today. I have a OnePlus 7t. We will see if it's an upgrade.

They can be very slippery, be sure to get a case!

My 4XL started doing bizarre stuff yesterday and had to factory reset. Figured it was close to death, so went and got the 6 today. A detailed review I read made me choose it over the pro. In set up right now.

The base 6 lacks one of the 5G bands.

Backordered, if you plan on getting it you will wait at least a month unless you can find one in stock somewhere.

Have had mine for a few hours. Beautiful phone. The screen and responsiveness is amazing. If setting up from a backup that is another form of Android like my OnePlus was I recommend not adding a backup of your apps. It was giving me issues at first trying to update some stuff that didn't apply.

The camera brick looks hideous/awkward online, is it better in person?

I assume a case smooths it out a bit?

Haven't had a Pixel since the OG and would like to go back after dabbling with mid range Androids for a while.

The camera bar is a good finger rest. A case makes it sleeker. Right now I'm trying a Spigen ultra hybrid.

It's a bit ugly but really not much different than the iPhone or Samsung camera bump rectangle. At least the pixel won't rock when on a flat surface.

And if you put a case on it like 99% of users will the entire topic is moot.

Even without a case it isn't any more ugly than the others, hell Iphones still have a notch on the front you can't escape looking at it at least the ugly part is on the back of the phone.

The pixel 6 has 5g it just cant do mmwave. Which isn't really anywhere yet and can the signal can be blocked by a leaf, so I wouldn't base your decision on it

The Pixel 6 Model G9S9B is mmWave-capable, but this model is only available if you purchase your Pixel 6 from the Google Store, Verizon, or AT&T. It’s also worth noting, that we don’t 100% know for sure what the AT&T and T-Mobile models support so some of this information may change. The Model GB7N6 only has Sub-6 5G

You are referring to mmWave. I think that's only true if u buy an unlocked phone (i.e. Google/Amazon). I'm pretty sure I read that if u buy from a carrier it will support mmWave.

After having this phone for a week, it's buggy as shite. I've never had the Bluetooth connectivity issues, keyboard overlay issues, or phone UI issues like this with any other phone. Debating on whether or not to return or wait for fixes.

Eta: I should have seen this coming after the pixel bud fiasco.

You got a defective phone swap it out while you're still within the 14 day window.
