You’ll still have to wake at 2am, but it’ll be one click and back to bed. The pre approval is for people who are already enrolled in iUP.

fwiw I'm caseless. I've gone back and forth between having one and not. I haven't used one for the past 6 months, apart from when I went overseas. I have 2 kids.

Anyone in the iPhone upgrade program and upgrade to the X last year?
Remember how the release wasn’t for another month or so after it typically is? I’m assuming that means we will have to wait longer again since we haven’t made the 12 payments on the X yet?

you get the apple store app on your phone, select phone you want, enter carrier details, get preapproved for new Citizens One loan via soft credit check, then it saves all that info. set alarm for 2am tonight, wake up, 1 click, you're done

You can make extra payments and get it at launch I think (not that I'd do that)

ETA: had to pay extra month on previous phone due to their delayed release date then have to wait an extra month the following year. When the whole premise of the program is to be able to get the newest phone as soon as it’s available. First world problems I know, but just interesting.

This cracks me up. I like electronics and technology, but still haven't come up with a reason why I would buy a smartwatch. Then I see all these middle aged ladies in the office with this hardware even though they're so inept with technology.

I’m not in the early upgrade program. I’m just going to order it through Apple or att on the next plan. If I pre-order at 6am tomorrow instead of 2am, am I likely to have a later ship date?

Yeah more than likely. Prob a couple weeks behind.
No issue last year with AT&T and an X on 7am order. Got the phone on release day.

I love tech but never considered a smart watch.
If I was really into running or had some medical need(that the watch could assist with) I’d probably consider it.
