I'm an Apple guy, but another yawner from them today. Better camera, display adjustments, battery life, video game demo, better than ever, everything better than ever. Same thing every year.
Only cool things to me:
Apple Watch ECG/heart rate
Apple Watch detecting falls (not by itself, but what this could lead to)
Homecourt app is cool, but I probably won't use it. Just brought out the basketball geek in me.

I’m really pissed about the dual sim or lack there of. Yeah okay eSim cool. But it’s limited to so few carriers. I can tell you how frustrating it is to carry around this pouch everywhere I go and swap sims.
China will be getting dual physical sims so maybe I can order a Chinese version? I feel like I’m more likely to skip this year and stick with my x.

Its amazing go me that prosumer laptops and workstations have become an afterthought to these companies.
Dont get me wrong, I still prefer Macs for audio and video production but its not the obvious choice it once was.

And LOL at them pretending people call it the "10" and not X. 90% of America will call it the ex-s-max (excess max) which should be a great portrait of American consumerism.

i bet on average i drop my phone 2x a day. there is a definite correlation of small kids : phone drops per day.
The most annoying thing is that they clearly did something to the glass on the newer ones to make them so sensitive. I have a super old one (I'm talking like iPhone 4), and this thing is indestructible. I drop it multiple times a day, even on concrete and never had any problems.
These Apple events have been lame for years. Wake me when Cook actually makes anything new. All he's done so far is just update the same products while making them dramatically more expensive. I guess that's good business if you can get it, but I don't understand how people keep buying them.

what? the Xs is nothing special, but the Xr and XsMax are way more than the standard incremental updates we usually get.

My phone carrier is AT&T, looking at pricing, I see buying it in full from Apple is the same price as doing 24 monthly payments in the long run.
Is one more beneficial than the other? I've been with AT&T for 20 years, so don't see moving in the next 2 years. I know the 24 monthly payments is a way to ensure you stay with AT&T.
But, what else am I missing?

When will the “old” iPhone X go on sale? Any thoughts on either a price decrease or ability get same phone with increased memory at least? When do the sales on the older models typically start?

When I bought my 6s, I financed it through Apple with their 24 month plan. It's interest free and doesn't lock you in to a provider. I had ATT when I first got it, switched to Verizon after the BR flood, and switched to Boom Mobile later.

They're not making the iPhoneX anymore so it may not see the normal price decrease.

The price difference for simply extra storage is still absolutely the dumbest thing about these things. You're talking about $4 difference in cost equating to a $200 price increase to the consumer. JFC.
