No clue, I'm going to guess via their G+ page, that's where they debuted the Android L teaser video earlier today.

Lol @ contracts.
I hate them too. Show me the math on AT&T's offerings. It looks to me like there are bullshite fees that make the total cost always work out very close.

I use Net10 Wireless with an AT&T sim on the AT&T network and pay $45 a month for unlimited everything.
Total bill is $49.59 out of my account each month.

quote:I already looked into that option. My wife and I pay $140 with AT&T. She has a grandfathered unlimited plan, and she needs it. She would lose her shite if she got throttled halfway through the month, so she is staying with AT&T for the time being. Taking my service off that family plan drops the AT&T bill by... surprise, surprise... $50.

They don't throttle her? I thought any data plan gets throttled now it's just the first however many GB per plan are unthrottled.
In my case, the first 4GB of my unlimited data are unthrottled.
But yeah, $45 a month and $49.59 total per month. Can't beat it, and I get great service as always with AT&T.
And as a big Nexus person, I never need or want a contract again.

Things are slowly changing in the good ole US with carriers and thank goodness Google is making quality phones for non contract users that aren't $900.

I will say though, the leaks don't look as if it has an LED notification light. Which the N4 and N5 have, which I love.
Hopefully it has it somewhere.

Not to mention your phone doesn't arrive crippled with carrierbloat.
It's such a better experience it's night and day.

So it appears to be as thin as the iPhone 6 too. That's something I haven't seen discussed before.

Man, from that picture on the previous page, it looks like the phone has a top and bottom taper. frick that. I don't want my phone to be a seesaw when I set it down flat. The G3 as well as some other phones like the M8 taper on the sides of the phone. While its not the greatest, it is still not that bad asthetically speaking. I hate the boomerang look of a top and bottom taper.

I <3 subsidized phones since I'm still on an old plan. The savings are significant.
I'm lazy this morning. What's the official word? Just 1 phone being released?

Yea but that is a leaked Euro price sheet which is hard to figure out what it will be in US since its never really goes by exchange rate.
Posted on 10/15/14 at 9:31 am to Catman88
Yeah, stuff is generally more expensive in Europe based on exchange rates, but the number will be higher for the US.

I still think its going to run 499 for the 32gb for the Nexus 6. Which puts it at the same price as a LG G3. So that makes my decision a bit tough since not a lot is known about it yet and the G3 has a removable battery and can add storage.
