Any recommendation for someone who does good work and won’t break the bank? Or a free program like photoshop that would allow me to do it?
Thanks!

Gimp for free photoshop, but have you tried the fark board?

I laughed pretty hard at this Stalin joke. Not posting a family pic on public site though. Will look into those others. Thanks!

In order to do what you want to do it takes a certain level of skill with the program. Don't expect to download it and immediately get the result you want.

The suggestion for the fark board is a good one. There are guys there with skills. See if you can gain trust with one of the posters and share email addresses. This will be your quickest route to success.

Interesting. I use GIMP. Why do you like paint.net better?

gimp might've come a long way since i last used it (probably 10-12 years ago). but i'm just more familiar with paint.net. it functions like microsoft paint but has the necessary features of photoshop. plus, the paint.net community works on plugins for tools that aren't available out of the box.

Some other options: Pixlr, Photopea, lots of online options for this these days as well.

I can't think of the names of any of them but there are websites where you can bid out work like this to schmucks in India. I'm sure you could get a decent enough quality job for a dollar or two, literally.

Sort of, it’s a great family pic (several lateral levels) and two Ex’s ruin it. 3 direct family members deceased so no chance to get another with all those folks. I had photoshop years ago and was ok with the “erase” and “duplicate other selection” buttons and that is all I would use. I’ll find someone online. Thanks for the laughs!
