My Gmail , stopped and Goggle wants $200 to fix it??

I called the 800 number and a guy told me people were trying to hack my email account and I have to add security for $200. for six months coverage?
Is this for Real?? Sounds like a scam.

Well that was a bogus number, I checked gmail and I was over my 15 g limit, $1.99 a month to up to 100.'fixed it.
