Anyone install this yet?

Any problems?

Any compelling reason to update and risk messing everything up?

I did it in fire starter (check for updates), and it worked like a charm. Everything I had on KODI was still there.

Saw it on there, didn't risk it.

I have surround sound. I turned it off and the sound came through the TV finally. Then turned the surround back on and it switched correctly.

That was easy.

I used to have Kodi, but it seems Genesis and a few other of my add ons have a lot of brokening links now. Anybody have suggestions for add ons?

I have it on my Fire TV. Worked really well. Streamed Jurassic World last night.

No longer updated.

Time to move to Exodus.

Exodus slays Genesis.

Exodus and Velocity with Trakt integration are my new go-tos. You can set up your watch lists on the Trakt.tv website and sync them to both add ons, which is easier than searching for titles. It only takes a minute or two.

Just set up the Trakt.

Gamechanger. Going to make it SO much easier to find what I want. Real pain in the arse using the remote to type.

Yep, me too, but there are still times where one add on or another has better content. Trakt, however is fantastic.

There is an app for android phones called Yatse that lets you send text to Kodi from the phone. Good for typing in http addresses when installing repositories as well as searching when the app doesnt support trakt.

Could also download the firestick remote app to your phone and use your normal keyboard from your phone.

I was worried about using trakt because it basicly keeps a recod of everything you've streamed and uses your ip address to identify you. I could be wrong, but it didn't seem like the benefits outweighed the risks.
