iOS 12 is one of the best OS builds from Apple in awhile, so upgrade it now.

Coming from Android, iOS 12 feels very fluid. Could be just me and my perspective, but everything runs very smoothly.

But do you have an iPhone SE? Remember, this is an iPhone 6 era phone, and technically older than that.

Older phones are performing much better on 12, 11 kinda sucked. There are a few articles out there about this. Upgrade is the recommendation.

I’ve been torn for the past week in deciding on being a cheap-o and get the X or go ahead and get the Xs.

I want to take advantage of that Verizon deal going on now with transferring my wife’s number from att to my vzw acct

Yeah tell me about this Wi-Fi calling. Is it something I should have enabled? What are the pros and cons of it?

I can make calls from underground areas at work that otherwise have no cell service, so there's that. They can be spotty, though.

I’m still on a 6s and upgraded to 12 this week. It runs better today than it has in a long long time. I would recommend upgrading it. 11 really was a clunker.

The X series phones are super nice, depends on how much you value your phone if the money is worth it.

The Xs is the perfect phone IMO. Great looking, very well built, perfect size screen, unreal camera, and fast as shite.

I think you’d be very pleased going from a 7 to Xs... I upgraded from a X and still noticed a nice upgrade in speed and camera.

I don't doubt that, but given the talk that has existed in the past that Apple purposely slows down older phones' performance with their updates, is it wise? Remember, I've got the SE......the phone they are phasing out entirely.

My wife and my two teens have SE’s. iOS 12 is running perfectly on them. It’s an improvement over any iteration of iOS 11, particularly for older phones. Like Dam Guide said, you should upgrade now.

Can someone explain why AT&T now charges a device access charge?

Also, if I'm doing the Next plan and paying $500 up front and paying all of the taxes up front, why are they charging me taxes again on the phone monthly on the bill.

I'm almost certain they always have charged a device access charge or "line fee".
