I’ve had the X for years but am getting the 13, regular one, not pro or mini.
What noticeable improved differences can I expect to see?

From an X, yes.
Based on my research since I have an X and am upgrading to the 13pro.

The camera system is a huge upgrade. It’s faster than I thought it would be over the 12. And the battery life is beyond sweet.

Haven't used my 13 Pro enough yet to really comment on battery life. However, the phone is blazing fast compared to my iPhone X. And the camera is awesome, especially in low light. The camera can see much better in low light than I can with my naked eye.

120Hz screen is the biggest improvement other than the updated cameras.

through AT&T, trade in value to upgrade to 13 pro max from my X is $800

Verizon is offering absurd amounts for trade in. It’s why I upgraded from my 11 to the 13 pro.

Yep. Verizon.
Offered me $800 for my iphone X and the iphone 13 is $800.
Threw in my device dollars and my new phone bill with the new phone is $4 cheaper a month.
