Also been on the beta, few lesser known apps are buggy, but most everything works fine

Any must do/haves with the update? Any cool widgets/setups?
The Home Screen widget stuff kinda dominated any previous discussions, so curious if anything buried in there thats worthwhile.

Biggest improvement is now an incoming call no longer renders your phone useless until it’s done ringing through.

I really like the idea of deleting apps off the home screen and letting the phone categorize them for you. If you can get down to one or two screens at most (preferably one), then just a swipe let’s you find all of them and they’re already organized. So far I’m liking that.

I love it.
I like that you can press and hold anywhere on your home screen and it goes to Edit Home Screen mode
I played around with the widgets on my Home Screen. Didn’t like it. Once I removed them I had to put ALLLL the icons back in the right place.
Zoom mode is pretty cool but apps like Facebook and Instagram get jacked up. I guess they’ll update to iOS 14-compatible soon.

Swipe left then swipe down and you get a list of apps in alphabetical order.

I took a lot of time to reorganize my apps, many apps went to the App Library only. It cleaned things up a good bit and made things easier to find and such.
I’m also enjoying the new scribble feature on iPad, it’s a nice alternative to typing. But my handwriting sucks so it sometimes doesn’t recognize what I write.
Finally, spatial audio is pretty cool, I can’t wait for apple to make some videos that take full advantage of this feature. I rewatched Greyhound on Apple TV+ it was cool to move your head and the audio moved. It’s better than stereo sound but it’s hard to tell a difference at times.
I’m also a fan of the automatic switch on AirPods, it was frustrating to go to settings to have to switch from my iPhone to iPad when wanting to switch. I use my AirPods Pro pretty often so it’s a great feature for me!

Being able to use wallpapers on CarPlay is nice. Allows me to black out the background and keep a really dark clean look.

1) spatial audio. That’s amazing what they’ve done with iPhones and iPads with AirPod pros. Bring that to Apple TV’s and that’s a fricking winner.
2) I have a nest doorbell and it’s integrated into HomeKit with an adapter. Now when anyone rings my doorbell it pops up pretty instantly and shows me a live view of my cam. That’s a winner to me!

There’s an orange dot at the top now when an app is accessing your microphone or camera.

Noticed it on a Zoom meeting yesterday morning. Wasn't sure what it was until I read some article last night about little things in iOS 14.

I’m liking the App Library feature (declutter) and the back tap feature. I’m using back tap to open apps.
