Impressed with T-Mobile Internet

Anyone else use them?
Had ATT before with no complaints but just got tired of the constant price hassle. The recent increase went to $89.99. Called to try and get it down and they wouldn’t budge so I told them cancel it I’m going get T-Mobile today. I’m sure I’ll get an offer in the mail in a month for $50

Thanks for sharing this. I’ve been considering them myself because of the price hikes with Spectrum.

Can’t beat it for $50. I don’t know the speeds and all that stuff yet but I have 3 smart tv’s connected to it with YouTube TV, 4 phones, a laptop, and my sons Xbox. No issues thus far.

It's very good for me and I work from home, have 3 kids that stream their faces off and we watch Youtube tv.
Now, it's very dependant on your local cell tower or 2. I live in a good spot with TMobile.
Also, if you're a higher tier TMobile cell user, you can get home internet for 30$ a month, which is impossible to beat right now and the foreseeable future.

Had it until we moved recently and had no complaints. My parents are still using it at their house.

Switched to TMobile from Spectrum a few months ago after a similar thread to this was talking about it.
Couldn't be happier. My wifi speeds typically hit 200 down and 50 up which is way better than the speed I was getting from Spectrum for double the price. Speeds are even better if I am in the same room as the equipment.
One thing to consider is ping rates if you or anyone in the household is a gamer. My ping rates on wifi (not plugged in) typically sit in the mid 50s which I've read is standard for TMobile. That is kinda high for serious gamers (which I am not).
Also, TMobile usually has a money back guarantee if you aren't satisfied. Think mine was a 15 day return (if I canceled & returned the equipment before 15 days, I get the monthly payment refunded).
Edit: I am considered to be in one of the slower areas

I'm near a tower and can hit up to 700 down and 100 up. Typical day is 400-500 down.

I have it as a back up for Cox. Cox is faster, and more consistent with it's speeds but is unreliable and has data caps without spending big $$$. I would ditch cable completely but we are getting cable, HBO, Starz, showtime etc for $29 a month as an add on to our internet plan...
The Tmobile is great most of the time, but peak times it can slow, but is never unusable.

You guys must live in markets with very little competition for ISPs.
500mbit internet from cable companies here are usually 40/mo.

I have the Tmobile ISP. Go the $25/mo deal back in January. I was getting 300 mbps when I was in Houston but only get around 150 mbps back in Metairie. Trying to decide whether to keep this or get ATT Fiber since it's available at my Metairie location.

I have it and it's been pretty solid for our house. No real complaints other than having to hard reset it maybe once a week

Have ATT gig now but switching to google fiber. Can get 2 gig for same price as ATT

The router is pretty barebones as far as its configuration capabilities.
Also, I pinged 100-110 to Dallas servers from BTR which is a non starter for gaming. For non gamers I'd consider it fine.

I have it and love it. I routinely hit speeds 250-300+ except during peak usage hours (7pm - 10p) when it’ll sometimes drop to 75+. I’ve never seen it drop below 50.

Gaming on it does not work well. I unplug this device and bring it to the deer camp for service. This pays for itself.
