I have it narrowed down to the Eero Pro 6E or the Google Pro 6E systems. Both are the top of their respective lines, Google cost less.

What are the thoughts of the Tech Board?

I have 3 eero 6e units in my house. 4k total sq/ft and I get excellent speed and coverage even out in the yard.

I have the previous model Google Nest Wi-Fi mesh and it has worked well for us. No real problems I can think of.

Asus Xt8 is what I have and the app has more features than most other manufacturers.

I have an Orbi Router with 1 Satellite and my home (2300 sf) and my backyard are covered well.

They may cost a little more, but are very good.

I have an ORBI with 2 satellites. One in my house which is 3000 square feet and one in my shop which is about 30 yards from my house sitting next to a window. I have 1GB service and consistently get 300k in my shop.

Had the google mesh but returned it all for Eero which was much more reliable and better connectivity. Currently have the Eero Pro 6 and 5 extenders. Still using Google home and hubs primarily for about 75 smart devices though.

6 vs 6E

Usually reliable but occasionally connection goes out on start up.

I have Eero Pro 2nd gen. - the one that doesn't support wireless gigabit speeds - I consistently get 900+ Mbps at the gateway, and my MacBook Pro typically clocks 520 or so Mbps more or less anywhere in my house.

I have three eero pro units, all wired and placed throughout the house. I live in a 95 year old house with lots of very solid construction materials as well as a recent addition and eero covers around 5000 sq. ft. inside and easily works in garage, on both front porch and back patio as well as out in the yard. Set up is easy as is maintenance. Haven't upgraded to 6 plus or 6e as what I have allows me to stream anything I want. I highly recommend (I'm a rank amateur, not a pro) and for reference I have AT&T fiber Gigabit internet.
