Wow. So they really kept the 16GB as the base model. Hard to believe. Either way, I'll be ordering a 64GB of the iPhone6 and iPhone6+. Glad the price will be dropping, but I might have bought a 6S if there had been a 32GB version.

It's still just iOS for 13" screen that's over 1K. Like I've said now... this just means I'll likely get the cheaper Air 2

Good grief, these things are so expensive. $750 for the 16GB Plus model? That's crazy.
I mean I love phones, but you can buy a lot of stuff for $750 (and even more for the actual $850 you'll have to pay to get a respectable amount of storage).

The lack of the redesigned UI/UX seems crazy to me considering that since shortly before Jobs' death he was hinting to Isaacson that Apple had cracked the code on how to figure out disrupting Pay TV.
You're going with the same basic design that you've always had? What's revolutionary, or even really evolutionary? I understand that Siri may help out here, but other than the next-gen informational layers that they seem to be allowing and working with on things like the MLB app that's a pretty staggering failure to deliver. On a tell they've been bluffing was in their hand for years-which might as well be decades in the tech industry.

They are still trying to figure out how to bully folks like Viacom, Disney, etc. It won't be as easy as it was with ATT and Verizon

If only Apple had a clue how to build and secure cloud storage and sharing the 16GB models might make sense.

Carriers have been doing this for 2 years with people screaming it is a rip off.
Apple basically does nothing and adopts the exact same system.....it is the best thing ever....I'm going to have to check it out

How much do you think you've been paying for the earlier models? What's changed isn't the retail cost of the phones, but your ability to see the price when it's not masked behind a subsidized wireless plan.
