Office 2024 home and business is $20 on Groupon.

Sure, if you don't mind Google knowing every little aspect of you and your loved ones' lives, I imagine it does work great for Google.

Why, that's your "upgraded" O365 which includes CoPilot+. You can avoid it, at least this year, like this before your auto-renewal.

360 is still the same price, but it won’t work for five random days of the year. Now 365, that’s a different story.

Not sure if serious. Are you trying to say modern office/windows11 is any different than google?

The biggest difference I see is that Google typically grants fairly strict privacy protections for almost all paid services, including AI studio, while Microsoft seemingly has no boundaries when it comes to paid vs free.

Microsoft data mines everything but you are paying them to do it.

Not a fan of google per se but they are happy to give you a product for free in return for your data. One seems like a better deal than the other.

LOLOL. Whut? Microsoft was under the 20 year FTC consent decree, not Google/Alphabet, which is why MS stuff didn't "just work" the way Google crap did.

Is this from their what workspace privacy policy you're basing this on?

Google does not collect, scan or use data in Google Workspace Core Services for advertising purposes.

You can drive an aircraft carrier through the holes that this leaves.

Transparent collection in the terms of service that nobody reads, and change on the regular. Wow, dude.

Well, along that line, when people say Apple products are too expensive, they aren't realizing all the software that comes built in. The operating system, a full on office suite: mail program, a word program, spreadsheet, & presentation program. Movie maker, pdf reader and so on. It adds up, plus they're made specifically to interact with the operating system and now the Apple only processor, so they fly.
