No regrets. I use YouTube TV. When I canceled my Spectrum TV I seriously had to beg someone to cancel my cable for 40 minutes on the phone. Biggest pain the arse. Horrible customer service. With the streaming services you can cancel and restart when ever you want without speaking to someone.

Had direct and dish for 15 years.

Been with sling for 3. Absolutely 0 regrets and I miss nothing. 1/3 the cost.

I am looking to switch from DirectTV and leaning toward Youtube. Will need to change internet if I do and have a few questions. We like to travel and camp a few times a year and was wondering if anyone has gotten hight speed internet at home that can be used in a travel trailer. I would probably need a dedicated hot spot with unlimited data and not sure which companies offer that and the cost. Would like feedback from anyone familiar with a setup similar to this.

Switch. Having cable boxes is great, especially if you move. Just making sure you have a Roku, Fire TV, or Android TV is the only work you have to do.

I had Playstation Vue for a couple of years, then switched to YouTube TV when PSV stopped service. I'm now streaming through Blusestream using the WTVE app. It's very good.

I switched from YTTV because my Bluestream is covered by my HOA dues, so I'm paying for it whether I use it or not. I like YTTV, and BS is equally good, but I saved $65/mth by going with BS.

Streaming is very flexible and you can put a TV anywhere you have an outlet and wifi.

i was a loyal dtv user for well over a decade and made the switch 2 years ago

I was paying 210 for direct and they were being assholes about lowering it more and more everytime my contract came up for renewal, got tired of it. Was tired of $65 in internet before for slow arse cable too.

once fiber was available i did this

fiber internet- ATT 1 gig- $60, i think its $80 now
Youttube tv- $65
Hulu/ESPN+/Disney+- $14
Netflix-$15
HBOMax- free through tmobile
paramount+- free through 247
Discovery+ - $5
mlbtv- free through tmobile tuesdays
Prime- Free through amazon

so i went from $275 to $180, have faster internet, way more content and can use all over the house and on the road.

only thing i miss is being able to flip easy between channels during football season but once you get good at working youtubetv and pressing down to show previous channels, you can work through it quickly.
