This might be my favorite I have owned to this point. It seems like I learn something new about it everyday. I don't think I have ever used a phone that runs this smooth consistently everyday.

Are y'all still liking yours, any cool features y'all have found hidden etc?

Yeah I've had mine since they came out and still love it. Best phone I've ever owned easily.

Seems to be a common theme with LG phones. My old one did the same thing. I noticed my leg felt hot, pulled my phone out and it was scalding hot and the lens was shattered. RIP LG phone.

I am a long time nexus fan I recently switched to the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge. I support galaxy phones at work and it was an easy upgrade so I said what the hell. After 2-3 months I easily prefer my 5x over this s6 edge. This phone is not as smooth and has too much bloatware. I'm thinking about selling this phone to get a pixel.

You're lucky to not have been seriously burned

I love my pixel as well. It, as the iPhone users enjoy saying, "just works". It's buttery smooth, never lags, and I'm actually using all of the stock apps. Well, I use Outlook for my work Exchange, but otherwise I use the stock apps and I love it.

I was able to get the 7.1.1 update last night! Couple of new features. Able to hold down say the messenger app and it will give you options to jump right into certain conversations. But the big one is the double tap to wake! So glad they put that in, always had it with my Priv, glad to have it back.

How is lift to wake? I miss that from my Nexus 6. Apple's implementation is flawless on my wife's 6s.

Great, pick it up, it gives time and notifications, and it's a swipe away from away.

I just wanted to say that I also like my Pixel. The only thing I don't like is that Assistant still won't talk dirty with me.

Welcome to the good life us Apple users have been enjoying for years!

Seriously though, the Pixel looks amazing. I have had the iPhone 2, 3gs, 5s, and now 7 and am seriously considering making the switch to the Pixel next year.

I want to, but I could not figure out how to change how often it syncs. I just want it to get email when I tell it-not all the time. Is that possible? I have the Nexus 5X if that matters.

seems like you can't

Personally I need to get email from work at all times, as even when I'm not in call, I'm kind of still on call so i never even thought about it
