My Plex keeps saying I don't have a direct connection within my own house. It also keeps dropping. What could be the cause?
Is there something on the router I need to setup? I just got ATT fiber 1000Mbps. I'm using the residential gateway but have a Netgear nighthawk on standby.

It's just more expensive and can't be used as a plex server. You have to have a server and use net sub. Nice not having to seed. How much does it cost you a month on usenet?

see the talk about torrents but no one mentions anything about Usenet for material.

I do love me some usenet. I download hundreds of gigs of random articles per month for research purposes.

I dunno if I want to do port forwarding or just use my nighthawk. Not sure how to put att gateway into bridge mode. I'll email you though.

you wont get your gig speeds using your night hawk. it isnt difficult on the att router just not as simple at nighthawk.

have you assigned a static IP?

Probably the same thing I need to do with my Xbox as well? I'm having a NAT and uPNP issue.

The only thing I've done is IP pass through because I read somewhere it helps with NAT issues. I don't know much about networking.
