What ya got? My JBL battery has been getting weaker and weaker, it’s time to upgrade. Preferably something with a strong battery.

I have a crap head unit on my boat that has Bluetooth. Does your boat have a stereo?

Bought this for one of our sons 2 years ago and it is a great sounding speaker when he comes home for a few days.
Most importantly, he loves it.

I bought this a couple years ago. Great battery and can even charge your phone. The Altec Lansing 850 Xpedition.

I carry this one on the boat now since the last head unit died. EcoBoulder - water proof and floats

We just bought two Tribet MaxSound Plus’s a bit on a spur of the moment whim; gave one to my Father in Law. We both love them and have nothing but positive things to say. Waterproof (I haven’t tested this yet) and supposedly lasts 30 hours per charge (we used it 10 hours straight yesterday during yard work).

Megaboom is the correct answer

Any thoughts on the hyperboom?
Also read some good things about the TurtleBox recently.

I can't comment on either, but the megaboom is really a great speaker. I have quite a collection of Bluetooth speakers, and the megaboom continues to be the most versatile. It's light, sized right, rugged, battery lasts a long time, and it sounds pretty decent too. For the money you can't go wrong.
There are definitely speakers that sound better, but not ones that also include everything else the megaboom offers.

From Costco - Great sounding, waterproof, LONG battery life and can link multiple speakers of this model together
Been using these for a couple of years for our pool area - bluetooth them to our phones, etc... . You can buy them at Costco either in the store or online. We now have four - they can bluetooth to each other - so, you can spread the sound around any area you choose. They are also waterproof - have fallen into the saltwater pool several times and they are still chugging along two years later - they also produce quality sound. As far as battery life, they have lasted us all day when we swim - check out their reviews which will validate what I said. Costco has an easy return policy, so if you're not satisfied, just return them.
ETA: Just noticed - someone above me in this chain posted about another Ecoxgear product - obviously, they make quality stuff - I never knew they made that size of a speaker. If it's like the model I posted here, you will be happy with your purchase.

I have a sonos move. We use it on our patio. It sounds fantastic, but it is not nearly as portable or rugged as a megaboom.

BUGANI M118 For $53
Bought this in Prime Day, it's still on Sale. Sounds really good and is pretty loud.

Have the Sonos Move, not cheap but best sound of any portable speaker and really great battery life. Its awesome for the beach but not sure about boating as its water resistant, but not fully waterproof.
There is the smaller, full water waterproof Roam, but not sure it will have enough sound depending on what you want.
